Yesterday I popped out of the office at lunch time to go get gas at the cheap-ish station a couple miles away. It’s on the main drag in the town of Vienna, VA. On my way back, I noticed something . What is this dippy little thing? A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (No More Gas).
I don’t know whether !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! actually delivers anything in this Meyers NMG parked in front of the restaurant, but it’s got the website for the restaurant on it, so I’m going to assume it’s an official delivery vehicle, in spite of lacking anything that might fit the traditional definition of cargo space.
Now here’s what else I encountered at the cheapie (at least for this area) gas station.

I like the knockoff Nardi steering wheel in the video, it’s wonderfully anachronistic.

You have performed a great service today! My kids all me what that is every time we see it ( a lot) and I had no idea. Time to go make their day and take all the credit.
I like that garage, they did the brakes on my tundra. The lotus espirit I saw there once combined me

I just remembered that Elio still hasn't delivered a single car.

My dad had a Mercury Capri, 91 non-trubo. It was actually snowing when he sold it in 1996 . Unsurprisingly , the new owner didn’t seem overly interested as he was showing her how the top worked. It wasn’t a good car in any way, but part of me is still glad there are a few still out there to remind everyone why the miata was so damned good.

It was originally the Corbin Sparrow. Yes, the same Corbin that makes motorcycle seats and saddlebags. He failed.
They even had a roadster version with a motorcycle engine called the Merlin.

The third-cheapest gas station in Rockville is the Sunoco right by my house . It’s the cheapest in that part of town by far so it gets mobbed sometimes.
The two cheaper stations in Rockville are a bit north of town center and the Rockville Metro. One’s a cash-only Freestate , the other is a Gulf which is usually the same or 1-2 cents more, but the credit price is 5 cents more than that. Same as the Sunoco by me.
Both of those are only a hair cheaper than the Sunoco by me for regular but they’re a lot cheaper for premium. So I try to hit the Gulf when I have a little extra time, or at least the Sunoco by my house.
But some mornings , I have juuust enough gas to get to work and don’t want to stop at Sunoco, so I fall back to Vienna Gas & Auto which is only another 5-10 cents more for premium than the Sunoco by me. Oh well.
